I am thinking about putting a winch on the Foreman. Any suggestions on brand? strength? other options?

Warn thinks too damn much of their items. Good stuff just buying the name. I was honestly thinking Ramsey or Superwinch in the 1500lbs line.

I would go with the Warn 3.0. Trust me my 1500 Superwinch wasnt even enough to pull my old 86' 250 out of some places.

Just wondering will Ramesy or Superwinch stand behind their products like WARN will ? If not may be worth the difference in price. I've personally used alot of Warn products in the past and their customer service is outstanding .

I have had the Warn 3.0 almost 2 years. It has been worked hard and has never let me down.

if u do get the 2.5, make sure to get the new style with the toggle switch, not the old rocker type switch. The old rockers corrode and wear out fast if used in muddy conditions......

(Making mental notes on this....) I know of several companies (XPATV being one) who are pushing the Ramsey winches. If Ramsey'sproducts are as good as XPATV's, everything will be all GUD.

Sound like the guy should have bought a battery first before asking about the winch problem . That's how i read it .

I quess everyone is entitled to an opinion I've used alot of WARN products and never had a problem but there is always a chance it could happen.
