Back to Winches.
I noticed that Xtreme ATV Products now carries the Mile Marker(?) Winches. Anyone familiar with these? According to Xtremeforeman, XPATV tore into the winch and found NO plastic at all.

I went with a Ramsey 2500lb winch. It works great. I even used it to pull a Polaris Ranger 4x4 out of a deep mud hole. I just braced the front of mine against a tree and started pulling. I was amazed that it did the job and didn't tear up my frame or any other parts in the process. We didn't have much choice cuz we were in the middle of nowhere. It was fun ribbing the Polaris guy about my Honda getting him out of a fix.

I am also in the market for a winch and have had great luck with my warn 8000lb winch, It has been on three of my trucks in the last 15 years and I have used it quite a bit so I have to say im happy with Warn.
