i want to keep the sized stock which i think is 25", the reason i dont want to go even an inch bigger is cause i want to put the very least amount of stress on it as i can. the main things i do are train ride which includes lots of uphill rides, some mud here and there but nothing BAD... also i use it to plow so that includes alot of lose soil... what do you guys think?
thanks

For your type of riding,I think vamps would be perfect.I like 589's but they don't climb as good as vamps and are just as good in the mud. ;D

Well if you mosly do trail riding then i would suggest getting maxxis bighorns or ITP 589s. The 589s may be a mud tire but in my opinion they are an all terrain tire. Hope this helps, Ethan

The mud tire shootout you see on our forum was copied from CTownForemans site, but it was also first started on atv news. That is where he got it from. Also JMO I think of the ITP 589s as a trail and mud tire because it does fairly well in both condictions. Like I said JMO.

I have 25in goodyear mudrunners, they're not as good as 589's in the mud, but imho they are a better all around tire.

I've got the ITP 589MS tires. I really like the ag-style tread for farm chores.

Actually the ITP 589s where my back-up tires to buy from the dealer if I couldn't keep my Outlaws or buy Mudzillas or Tri-Claws.

well if your trail ridin alot vamps aint for you they are a perty strait out mud tire. and they will wear much to fast for trails although they are good on them. 589's are what i reckon would be the best for you. ive ridin on them many times and they are acceptable in mud but dont accel or come close to vamps or laws. and im just curious did yall get permision from clay to use his shootout. me and him are very good friends i aint trien to step on any nuts here. and good luck on the tire selection i think youll be fine askin these guys i know many of them and they know what tehre doing

I would have got it from there, but they already disconnected the link before I could copy it. He was the only one who had it that we knew of. I don't think he would mind anyways. Chad- BadForeman
