Well, some of you might know some of this already but for those who dont and have trouble with those plastic rivits keep poping out i have a soulution. First, those rivits are kinda a one time deal so go and purchase about anywhere from 5-7 packs of 10. Once youve done that go to the hardware store and buy about 60-70 stainless 5/16 flat washers. Then what you do is drill a hole for a rivit in between every original rivit so you have twice as much. Once you have double the rivits and washers behind all of them it makes them a hell of a lot stronger and much harder for them to continually poping out. Hope this helps, Ethan

nice idea, i have been putting the washers behind mine for a while now and have only lost one, a dang Grizzly slid into the side of me, but other than that using just the washers behind the rivets have been a definite improvement.

Definately a good tip. Since they are underneath where you can't see, and rust won't spread to plastic, I prefer to use 8mm steel washers. They are a little thicker and a little snugger, and are what Honda used on the couple that they reinforced from the beginning. Your washers are probably a lot easier to assemble on there though.
