I agree Progressive 512's. I just put them on my '01 foreman and man, what a difference they make. I ride a fair amount 2up with (2) Kolpin 3.2gal gas rack tanks on the front. I had the progressive's set on the lowest preload setting (1) and very, very rarely bottomed out the shock. With the stock shocks I was bottoming out all the time. These shocks will lift your bike. I'm gonna say about 3/4-1". They are well worth the dough. I know Yasky's has them, that's where I got mine. www.yaskyatv.com/index.htmlHope this helps.

What other choices is there for shocks? I need shocks that can handle extra weight and are adjustable.

What other choices is there for shocks? I need shocks that can handle extra weight and are adjustable. The Progressive 512's are adjustable. I'm not sure how much extra wieght you are wanting to handle, but I've got a 60" plow that I put on my bike and many times have my three boys ( combine wieght probably 170lbs)on the bike with me when I ( I go a lean 250lbs) plow. When I'm trail ridding I usually am riding 2up with my lady(I'm not gonna give out her wieght , but it is significantly less than me ;D), (2) rack gas containers on the front rack, and a box on the back that is stuffed full of junk. Since putting the progressives on I very rarely bottom out while trail riding, and I have the shocks set at the 2nd pre-load setting. I'm not getting commission from progressive or anything. I just think you would be very happy with them. Good luck on your decision, Blessings,

no im gettin 512s here real soon. If you want to pay like 800 bucks on shocks for a utility quad go ahead if you got the money. 512s are about 400 bucks for all 4. Works are used for jumping ATVs a lot.
