I am starting to get into the night riding. I was just wondering, can the Foreman handle to 55 watt Baja Halogen lights from wal-mart?? I was also going to get one small one for a rear light. Will I have enough power or should I just get some WARN Light?? Thanks!!

I would stick with lights made for the bike. Its your charging system that you could overload. We ride nights a lot and everyone complains about the stock light on my bike. That light on the handlebars is bright. They say when I'm behind them, the get blinded when they turn around. ;D

So I shouldn't worry about extra lights?? Anyone else have an opinion on this??
Also WILD450S, how do you like the custom start-in gear switch and fan switch?? Has it been helpful or tons of problems? I was thinking of doing both to my Foreman when I get it but want to get some reviews before I do it. Thanks!!

No problems whatsoever on either of them. The fan switch is,imo,a must on a foreman. They run very hot and running the fan when idling through the woods on a mud ride is invaluable imo(esp. with the load put on your bike with large mud tires and mods). Then you can turn it off when your fixing to go through deep water. You don't want the fan running underwater. The start in gear switch on my bike has been used only twice, but it was a lifesaver.Once, the bike killed in gear highcentered on a root and 3 of us could not get the bike out of gear(we tried this because I had the start in gear switch and wanted to see how hard it would be to get the bike out of gear).Flipped the switch, started the bike, rocked to the side and off we went. Another time was in deep water. I was rocking the bike on an underwater stump when it killed. I started it immediatedly before water backed up the exhaust pipe. I always run in deep water with the start in gear switch on,just for that reason. IMO, I would not be without the two. I also am a firm believer in motor kool for your engine oil. Really works and the pipe wrap keeps the hair on your leg. Hope this helps...WILD450S

I used a 15amp medium duty toggle switch that I got from Ace hardware. The switch has 2 wires coming out of the back of it. You can also get the rubber waterproof cover for the switches. I used these switches for both applications. Apply a little rtv to the switch where the wires come out to further waterproof the switch. Installing both switches should take a couple of hours if you take your time and pay attention to details. Let me know if you have any further questions. ;D

No pics of the switches, but they are mounted on the plastic between the handlebars and look nice the way I have them mounted.Pics of the bike are on this website.

Speakin of the start in gear.. Do you just wire up a switch to the nuetral switch so the light comes on and you can just start it up?
