I have found that a Warn 424 or Warn 2500lb winch are GREAT accesories. I have both on my Rubicon and they make it more fun to ride, and I can go a lot more places without worrying about getting it stuck.

Well I have a Rancher 4x4, but getting a Foreman S. The best thing on my Rancher other than my 26" Outlaws would be my Front & Rear Tow Hooks, because you know us Hondas have to go first to pull everyone else out. I've had to use mine almost everywhere I ride. Almost never for me, but for everyone I ride with. I quit counting all the people I pulled out of the mud.

Around here, 95% of people end up getting pulled out by a Honda. The ONLY other ATV's around here are the odd yamaha and very odd Poolaris. A Polaris can't pull anyone out because the belt just slips, and Yamaha's break axles if they get any pressure on them, or else they squel the belt.

I HAVE MANY MODS ON MY FOREMAN AND THE WARN 424 IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES, IT HAS ALLOWED ME TO HAVE MORE FUN THAN I COULD HAVE IN FULL TIME 4WD. MY SECOND FAVORITE IS A SPOOL LOCKER. ALTHOUGH IT DOES NOT STEER AS WELL AS THE DGL, IT WAS ONE TENTH THE PRICE, AND IT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN WHAT I CAN GO THROUGH OR OVER. I DONT RECCOMEND IT IF YOU ARE A SMALLER PERSN AS I AM 6'5" AND 275 LBS AND SOMETIMES IT TAKES ALOT OF STRENGTH TO STEER IN SOME CONDITIONS. BUT IF YOU NEED THE TRACTION HAVING ALL 4 TURNING IS AWESOME.

Without a doubt the Perfex long travel suspension kit, available for Foreman 400/450, and also Rubicon and Rancher 350/400.
Here's a review from Stan Lee from Hondapartsworld.com. :
"Guys, let me tell you about the Perfex Long Travel Suspension kit. I have been trying to write a review for a week now. I’m dead tired, but it’s now or never. So here it goes.
I too at first was hesitant of the Perfex. How would it do in real world conditions? How could this kit do anything to help the suspension on my Rubicon? To answer these questions I sent off for a kit and let me tell you it simply works!
Installation was a breeze installing in just under an hour. The only thing this kit does is change the angle of your shocks. It moves them into a more straight up and down position. This allows your shock pistons to travel a longer stroke and it works!
Last Sunday I put the kit threw a full fledge 84 mile test and it preformed with flying colors. On trials it soaks up bumps and humps with ease. Making for a better and more enjoyable ride.
One example: We toped a large strip mine and if anyone has rode on one of these you know how bumpy they can be. The Perfex stepped up and let me ride as fast as I wanted across the top of this normally bump infested shake fest.
Example two: On hi speed trails I could feel all four shocks working together. More of a spring like feel, verses the rear or front being to hard. I jumped one small jump and it was cool how the whole machine compressed taking the load.
Example three: One condition I thought the Perfex would not perform well in was low speed off camber situations. NOT! The shocks ability to travel further made the Rubicon feel more stable and less tipsy. My Rubicon was able to lean further with out without the “oh I’ve gone to far felling.” It left me wondering why Honda would not use this type of setup from the get go. I know Honda was going for stability, but it this setup rocks. Also going forward over large rocks was much improved. The Rubicon has a tendency to pop up over large obstacles, not with the Perfex. The socks ability to travel further gave the front wheels a more rollover felling instead of bump pop.
Example four: Handling and Steering. The kit does not drastically change the geometry of the Rubicon. It pushes down and the a arms harder which makes it set up a little further about an inch. The steering seems to be a little bit easier, but I could not tell if the Perfex made it that way or if the Mud Lites did that. In retrospect I believe both of them helped to make the steering easier and more responsive.
Conclusion: The Perfex Long Travel Suspension Kit delivers. Even the guys I rode with said that they could notice that my Rubicon was soaking up bumps better than the other Honda riders that were with us. The over all fit and finish of the kit was first rate, installation was a snap with only standard metric tools and a drill needed. The drill is needed to put one whole in the sub frame to secure the rear unit. Oh and you will need either an ATV lift or a hoist to lift the front and rear ends off the ground. You only have to raise the ATV high enough to take the pressure of the shocks so that they can be removed from the lower brackets. The shocks do not have to be entirely removed.
Another cool feature is that the whole kit front and back simply bolts into place so if for some reason you do not like it you can just unbolt it and put your shocks back into the original brackets. The Perfex also has and extra mounting position so that you can fine tune your setup. As for me I’m keeping the kit in place it has defiantly given me a better handling, smoother riding machine. And the dust on everyone’s face proves it."
