I change my oil plenty because all I ride is heavy mud for long periods of time. I use the HL reusable and I believe it to be better than a paper filter. It is high volume and will not deform or come apart with high temperatures. It has saved me money in the year I've been running it. ;D

NOT TRYING TO BE DUMB BUT YOU CAN'T REUSE THE K&N OIL FILTER ? I HAD ONE AND TOSSED IT FOR THE CRT PERFORMANCE ( HIGH LIFTER REUSEABLE ) FILTER.

FlipStick, I know. Thats why you just get the K&N filter care kit or cleaner thing or something like that and clean and re-oil it. Thats what i'm doing.

Here is a link to my Amsoil Website which will tell you which Amsoil filter to use for your specific bike: ams-cyclefilter.saturnsys.com/My 01 450s, and most of the hondas that I am aware of, take the smf 101 filter runs about $6. This is, of course, and internal filter. I'm not one for pushing sales on to people, but I believe Amsoil turns out top quality product as far as all fluids and filtration for the motorsports. That is why I became a dealer, to be able to help my friends and family get ,what I believe to be, the best products for their bike. So I am adding this to the thread to give you another option to you filter question, not to push the product on you. I f you want to read more about the amsoil filter or other products you can visit my website or PM me.
