Well I had a great day out playing in the mud and dirt, even though I rolled my foreman coming down some power lines at appox 60 degree down slope. Ass over Tea kettle I went.
Yeehaw was like riding a mechanical bull.
At the end of our 7 hr ride we was with in 10 minutes of hitting the home stretch and WHAMO One big old ELM tree picked up it roots jumped in front of me and challenged me to hit it.. SO I DID.
I loss
The front bumper sheared off every bolt clean and it dropped on to my tires. The braces or arms to the front bumper snapped off like a carrot stick. I had the stock bumper as shown in the yellow foreman pic on the header to this site.
Man after looking at this bumber what a piece of CAH-CAH. Cheaply made poor design.
So now I need a new front bumper and winch mount for my machine and I need to get it ordered ASAP as i hace a 2 day ride coming up in 2 weeks and want to get it ordered and replaced
would l like to hear pros and cons on different bumpers out there.
thanks Beaner

That Warn bumper looks pretty swell, in my opinion. Throw on a coupla Warn Trail Lights with it and you'll be in style. Add a winch, and you're straight up pimpin! lol...if I got one it would be the Warn. Great company. Ordered from Yasky, and it's even better

Do you know if the warn replaces the stock bumper or bolts on to it as an add on?

Didn't think about that...hhmm...
Most aftermarket bumpers are bolt-on to the OEM. I don't know of any that don't. You can prolly get a replacement bumper for cheap, then get the Warn with it.

i let a friend of mine ride my rubicon and he got it stuck in some mud and so my friend came and pulled it out with his truck but they put the chain around the 2 vertical bars on the bumper ( the ones close to the front diff ) and it like pulled them together and its all bent up and stuff i was wondering if anybody knew where i could get a replacement one, i might get an aftermarket one later but i just want the stock one for now. thanks

www.xpatv.com They have their own bumpers. You can get them in combo with a winch, either warn, ramsey, or soon the Mile Marker line. These bumbers are cool. Gonna be my next purchase.

Honda built that bumber very carefully to break before your main frame gets bent too far. Think it through. Had the bars not snapped, the bolts not sheared, all that impact has to go somewhere. The first place it goes after the bumber is the frame. Something's got to give. Not to mention that the stronger frame (or stronger bumber) would cause a much more violent impact from the riders standpoint. Good way to break a wrist, arm, knee, or noggin. I'd consider replacing the factory bumper, and possibly adding a supplemental bumper to that if you still want.

I was just about to tell him to go to HPW, but you beat me to it. You can look at the microfische slides and get the OEM numbers and order directly from them.
