also try www.xpatv.com they have some good boot gaurds. call around and maybe you could find some. maybe a hardware store or something. i wanted to make a belly skid that when it got to the floorboards, cover under the floorboards (es has the full floorboards) then hinge it at the swing arm and run it under the swing arm to the rear diff and just buy a skid for the rear diff, since i havent tried welding aluminum yet

... and if you know can you tell me where to get a 4x8 sheet of dimond plate, and how much it will cost. thanks for help Man, have you seen the price of metal lately? That's like buying a Bentley. If you don't know where to go or how much it'll cost, then you can't afford it anyway! Usually for small stuff like that (if you don't need a semi-truck, they usually call it a small order), often it's better to skip the steel suppliers (who have or can get aluminum as well) and see a local fabrication shop or welder. They use more, therefore qualify for a good discount, so after they make a buck or two for "handling the transaction", you'll still end up way ahead of the game. They also may have leftover items and cutoff's that they can let go for less than "new" metal. As for the price, it's changing daily and very dependant on where you are in the world. Best thing to do is poke around locally.
