My Foreman has been tough to start recently. According to the manual, there is no need to use the choke if the temperature is not low. I have had to use the choke to start my Foreman most of the time. If I'm riding and cut it off for a few minutes, it will start right up. If I'm riding and I stop for over 5 minutes or so, it is hard to start. I have only 50 miles on it. I was wondering if this is the norm?

some of the new ones. will be hard to start, soem of then u will be ridding them around 10mph and they will die. but soemtimes it could be the idling or the throttle.

Starting problems exist most of the time when she sits a long time. Simply overnight can force you to use the choke. Ever tried the primer knob? Coupla presses and mine starts right up.

Thanks for the idea about the primer knob. I know this sounds stupid, but I forgot it even had a primer knob. I hope it takes care of it. I had a couple of friends with hondas that told me they were cold natured.

Yup, the primer knob is lovely. I didn't find out about it until a while back. Makes life itself easier.
