Is anyone using a dial a jet on their foreman? If so, Is it a worthy investment with a pipe and k&n? Thanks, Steve

Yeah I have it just havent installed it yet. My friends have it though. They love it. Since we do different elevation trails, you just can dial in the jet. It increases horsepower, better throttle response, better fuel milage, and is an easy way to change your jet for the right altitude. I think it is a great investment for 72 bucks. Takes a while to install but thats about it. you will have to down size the main jet to put this in. I got a Dyno Jet also and now im usin a 126 and its runnin pretty rich but we will change that when we put the dial a jet in to a 118.

I had a thought regarding the dial a jet. I noticed on the Thunder Products website that the system uses a air sensor on the side of the intake outside of the box. I would imagine that would be a huge issue when going deep with a snorkel. Water can easily get into the sensor. Here is the link to what I am talking about. Any thoughts? www.thunderproducts.com/atv_sport_dial_a_jet.htm

mountainman, I believe that the Dial-a-jet can be ordered with a short (easily extendable) snorkle for it's air vent for that vary reason. I've never put one on to know for sure what it's all about, but I believe that's how I take the sales literature.

Yes, Jake, you are right. I called thunder prod's today and placed the order. The guy also said that in case of a prolonged deep water crossing you can turn the adjustment dial halfway between clicks and it shuts the dial a jet down so water cannot get in. The snorkel for it is up where the intake is from what he said.

I just put my dial a jet in last night. Pretty easy. Used a 118 Dyno Jet Main jet for it. Ran the snorkel up by the front of the gas tank. Any questions just ask. Could definatly feel the throttle response. When you install it just to tell you. If you want to change the jetting unscrew the screw on the dial a jet 1 full turn then dial it in and then screw it back in 1 full turn.

They give you a big long pointy rod that you poke in the air intake boot and then you take that blue hose and connect it to the DAJ and the the float bowl when you get the float bowl all set up. Then you just put the little cover over it with the snorkel and your done.

Well first Ill tell you first off that me and my friends went there to do the most extreme trails becasue that is what we ride. We hit the top 10 hardest and they were awsome. Trails are bitchin and the land is beautiful. It was 70-80 degress and all through town you see the sweetest jeeps and it just amazes you. Im going there again for sure!
