If you were to put a pipe and a jet kit in it , it would help it out a bit, maybe take a razor blade and cut the folded lip off the end of the air intake thats up under the plastic that covers the gas tank, that could let a touch bit more air into it.

I agree with Ezrider and i did the same modification to the inlet tube but i used a die grinder before i added the snorkel

I just got the dial a jet in a couple of days ago and haven't had a chance to really tweak yet. do have a K&N with a fmf pipe with all spacers in place so I know it is breathing well. The warn 424 helps it a lot to pull really well in 2 wheel drive. But, I have a feeling that these 450's are great in the bottom end but suck up top. My wolverine will stilll eat the honda on the top end. It has a white bros. pipe with a K&N with re-jetting and some tweaks to the mix.It also has 25" maxxis rubber. The honda has way more bottom end grunt though. Turns the 28's with ease. I would concentrate on getting the most on the bottom. Don't think you'll ever get great top end with big claws. That's my impression so far. Of course, I could be mistaken.

I bought a White Brothers E-Series exhaust and it came with their Powerfilter airfilter. I put them both on and she really came alive...even without jetting, although I think its running a little lean. I would say it gave me about 4 HP...probably a couple more after I jet it sometime.
I can pull 4th gear wheelies in the Trailhead parking lot....but thats after bumping the front wheels off a small rut.

I would highly recommend jetting it as soon as possible. When i added the exhaust and filter then got it dyno tested it was running extremely lean. Let me know if you need any help .

Yea...I know absolutely nothing about carbs or jetting. I think I will leave it up to the pro's for that. I dont want to screw up something that I cant fix

Thanks for the offer. I'll tinker with it once I get the time.
