Myself, i have the foreman S and love it... i am just used to the foot shifter plus i head it doesnt go "wrong" as much as an ES. (Knock on wood)

I love the S model. I wanted a manual bike that was simple and easy to work on without necessary electronics. I ride heavy mud and water and the s model is perfectly suited for that. imo ;D

I voted S!! Because I have a S and I like the reliability of the S. I've seen the ES's have problems in action and I will never get an ES. I will take an Auto. over an ES. JMO thought.

I got the S because i am used to the shifter and i figured all that computer stuff was just somethin expensive that will mess up

Kinda of hard for me to vote on that because I have both Es and S and I must say that I like the ES really well I like the full floor boards and I like the fact that when the water gets deep I can shift without getting my feet wet.

Just don't get that shifter too wet or you'll be getting your feet wet. I know from experience. My brother has a Recon ES and his always has problems. Also I just buy waterproof boots and some waders and i'm ready. I either do that or just go bare feet. Chad- BadForeman

Everyone thinks i'm an idot riding bare feet, jean shorts, and a sleeve-less t-shirt. Thats until they get stuck and i'm their only hope. Then they say something totally different. ;D I love my Outlaws!! ;D

I have the ES and it is really convenient. It comes with the full footboards which is an important safety factor.

LOL badforeman I bet that is a site bare feet and all. I have hip waders when I ride my S and I never get wet but for just riding I like the ES and I have had it in quite a bit of water and have never had a problem.

When I ride bare foot people are like, " Does that not hurt your feet when shifting??" " Are your feet not hurting you or sore??" Remember I have a S model Rancher too. I all my answers are nope nope and nope! I have like feet of steel. Yeah, i'm getting waders this winter, can't wait I won't have to wear 2 pairs of long jeans and 2 jackets just to ride my Rancher.

I'm real happy with the s, I just wish Honda would make an 850s Foreman, seems like the Foreman is the biggest toe shift machine you can get. Now Polaris has their 800 sportsman coming out, getting hard to keep up with the power these other machines are coming out with. I just don't wanna give up that toe shift.
