I was wondering how deep of water can you safefly go into with a foreman that is stock? I was planning on going this weekend and there will be some pretty deep holes. I don't want to cause myself a lot of headaches.

You know where the intake is? On the left side next to the gas tank, as soon as it's up to about were it says the S/ES under the Foreman, you had better be popping that front end up.

Thanks, I had a friend tell me that it was not good to get in past the floor boards or it would be very bad on the electrical components.

James is right. Take off your seat and you'll see a second tube other than the one where the filter is. Look where the tube ends and thats how deep you can go. Mine on my Rancher is right about the Rancher on the side. James was right though. Remember to water wheelie though if something happens. Just a tip. Have fun though!! ;D

Your friend is not all together wrong. Sometimes a molex plug will not be sealed water tight, however most do seal with out a problem. You never really know untill a problem arises. One thing you can do is pack the molex pluges with die electric grease this can help keep water or mud from getin into the connections.

I wouldn't go deeper than about 3 feet and keep the front end high. If it drowns, jump off quickly and raise up the left side of the bike. That's where water can enter from the exhaust on the intake snorkel. ;D

if a rancher had the 2 wheel drive and four wheel drive switch and you put it up against a foreman with the same size tires and both of them were standard shift, and the snorkel was both stock the rancher would go deeper.
