Anyone seen or have any comments about this box: www.hondapartsworld.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=60I'm looking to get a storage box which can also make it more comfortable for a passenger. Any thoughts? Which thumbsaver do you all use? Is it worth the investment? I'm looking for some slip on grip pads to go overtop of my heated grips. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks for your comments,

Well, My friend has arthritis and he uses the thumbsaver like Cabelas got. He said it works good. And for the grip, Montana Jacks sells neopreme hand covers. They work great. Soem people call em elephant ears. Waterproof though. And with the storage box, looks like a good setup. Spendy though. Ethan

Thumbsaver- Would get it. I don't have it, but it is on the list on to get for my next atv. I think it would be a good investiment.
Grips- I would look around at some different places and get some gel grips. I have down some black gel grips for my next atv too! Another good investiment I think.

Ethan, I know the box is pretty pricey . But, so far it looks like it would be pretty comfortable and serve my purpose. Anyone have any thoughts for a box? Tell me what you have and pro's and con's. Chad, I haven't been able to find any gel grips to go over my hothands. Any thoughts on where to look. I put a post on the Yaky board to see what they could come up with for me. I think I will definately get the thumbsaver. Couple of more accessories I'm thinking about 424 unilocker VS Detroit Locker. What do you think? I don't usually get into too many situations requiring the locker, but I would like to run my bike in 2wheel drive. What are your thoughts. I do a fair amount of plowing and want to improve suspension to stiffen it up while blade is on. I was thinking about the 512 progressive shocks. Someone had recommended highlifter springs. I want the front stiff while plowing, but soften back up while ridding trails. What do you think? Has anyone seen the Cycle Country power angle attachment for the plow? Any thoughts? Thanks for all your advice TRHOD

Well, the DGL (Detroit Gearless Locker) is a great feature to have on your ATV because it turns a hinda into a true 4x4. The Unlocker mainly made by Warn is a great feature also my friend has it on his Rubicon and he loves it becasue he can turn sharper and it really helps when you dont need 4wd like on Gravle Roads. The Progressive 512 Shocks work good. My other buddy has em on his Foreman says they work great. If you buy teh 512 Shocks you should have a smoother ride and better quality shocks. The HL springs are going to stiffin up the shocks and make it a little more rough ride but on the plus side you will be able to carry a lot more weight on your ATV. Hope this helps, Ethan

Hope this helps, Ethan Ethan, Thanks for all the info. Did your buddy notice less nosedive when you slam on the front brakes with a load on the front with the progressives? This is the main problem I have with the plow on and the stock shocks, if I'm braking hard or taking a corner hard the front nosedives alot causing the tire that is low in the turn to really bit. I get a little concerned, especially now that I have the new tires, of doing a superman dive over the handlebars on of these times. Doesn't sound like the HL springs are what I want. Yes I do want the front end stiffened up while plowing, However the ride is already stiff enough when on the trail. Don't think my -roids could handle anymore ;D ;D TRHOD TRHOD

For get the 512 Shocks and get some Wide Open Shocks. Thats one of the shocks I was going to get if I didn't get lift springs. Everything else he said was good to get too. DGL is also a great accessory like he said. If I was to pick from tires and a DGL I would prolly get the DGL then buy some cheap tires like Mudlites. About the gel grips not fitting over the heat grips, sorry I though I thought they would fit. Humm......I'll look, but i'm not sure i'll far i'll get.
