Im interested to hear if any of you have put a radio or cd player on a foreman 450 es.
what did you use ? was it a kit? where can i get one.?
Im really interested in getting some tunes on the bike and possibly a radio with a weather channel on it. Up here in the Northeast I want to be aware of lighting and prevailing snow storms.
I do have the ACC 12 plug but was leaning towrds a permanent add on

I was just talkin to my buddy about this. How much y'all think I could get 4 6x9's for cheap? Y'all think I could hook 'em up to an mp3 player? THAT would be awesome. I just found a coupla old-school CD's and since my burner don't work, I'd like to put it on the mp3 player. Anyone got any ideas?

I made a little ice chest into a radio. I picked up 2 pioneer 6.5s & a am/fm casstte deck. All was marine and like new. I put the speakers in the lid, the deck on the side of the ice chest, and sprayed it with a bed liner. The kits that you can buy with the speakers and stuff together was to expensive so i got some used stuff. I put a lawnmover/atv battery in the ice chest so my stuff is completely poratable. That way I can take it off when I want to. There is another way of doing it by just pig tailing your power to the cigarette lighter plug in . After I got all my wires and stuff I did all the wiring in my ice chest and bam it sounds great. Also make sure you use a small fuse .I suggest a 10amp so if you cross wires your deck or nothing will fry when connecting your wires.

That cooler radio sounds neat. i got about 25 of them hanging around and four or five lawn tractor batteries... i just might have to try that...
kind like what they are selling now for job site radios.
was wondering how long the batteries last in this configuration

I couldn't tell you how long the battery lasts because I only use it for an extended period of time on the weekends. Plus some wires came un done and touched and drained the battery, recharged and shes fines though.
