Well guys last weekend i went riding in Liberty, Washington. Most of the trails are either motorcycle or 4x4 trails. We got there and rode a little then went to bed. 5:30 Saturday morning i hear a knock on my friends trailer and a man says, "Please help I just got into a really bad car and I need help, Hurry Please call 911!" So I get out of my tent and see this guy and he is a bloody mess. He has a swollen eye and blood running down his head. I asked him how many other people and he said 2 others and I asked him where he was at and he said at the top of the hill. We were camped near a trail head which had a HUGE HILL in the beginning it was a series of like 6 rooted steep rocky hills. The is a turn around at the top near like a 600ft ledge. So we are expecting a jeep rolled like twice and someone couldn't get out. We got to the top of the hill and no sign of any vehicle. So we start looking down at the bottom of the hill and we see a whole bunch of shit at the bottom. I'm thinking to myself no F***ing way! So me and my friend hike or should I say slid down this gnarly animal trail we find to get down there cause there is no way you can climb down the rock face. We get to the bottom and hike on the road and we find the accident. A sorry excuse for a Jeep Cherokee is all f**ked up and looks like a box laying 50ft from the road. In the Cherokee is a man that looks like he tried to jump out while falling but the door closed on him 1/2 way. He was almost in 1/2 and had no face. He was dead for sure. The other guy (the driver) was ejected about 50ft from the Jeep and laying face down in the rocks. He was also dead. All I have to say is thank god i have a strong stomach. We led the sheriff to the scene and they got them out of there. Later that day the Ambulance took Cameron Hayes (the one that walked to our camp amazingly up 2 huge, gnarly ass f***ing hills to the hospital where he was treated for head trama. Later that day some of the people went on a ride when they found a man sitting on the side of the trail with a cooler and a loaf of bread. He said that his brother and 2 friends were out there and search and rescue couldn't find them. Thankfully, he was Cameron's brother instead of one of the 2 dead guys brother. The 2 dead people had just graduated from Moses Lake Washington High School last year. They were 19 years old.
Let this be a lesson to all to be very careful and always no which way you are going. They had fallen off the cliff at 2:15 on the morning and the only thing that saved Cameron's life is wearing his seat belt and not trying to jump out. Let these 2 men that have passed away rest in peace and I wish all the best to the families of the men that were in this terrible accident.
