Throw the Clymer manual in the trash and get a Honda Manual. Much more useful. I have both and the Clymer is gathering dust on the shelf. For brake light information go to BikeBandit.com and look at a 1998 Foreman. All 1998 Honda quads had Brake lights in Vermont. Buy the lever switches and the foot pedal switch from Honda. Then fabricate the wiring and add 2 universal bulb sockets to each rear light using 904 bulbs. Cheap and effective. Works like a champ on my 99 Foreman. And very bright with 4 bulbs. I have the same brake light setup on my 400EX. You would be amazed at how useful a horn is also. I used a boat horn (waterproof, Bass Pro Shop off the shelf) and a Yamaha kill button. Very effective on the trail. Scares the crap out of everybody, they think a truck is on the trail......He,He,Heeee. Dub.

Heck, why are you guys messing around with all this crap when you can go out and buy some just as good if not better. I am just getting me some rear back-up lights that I can turn on when I need them on and when I go in reverse. Cheap and easy!! HaHa!!
