After you take off the pull rope, is the bolt on the crank a right hand threads or left handed threads. To take it off do you turn it counter clockwise. I have tried to take it off with my impact and it will not break loose.

I think everything on the hondas are standard, so you should be turning counter clockwise. I have yet to put my leak shield on yet (sitting in my tool box on my truck), so I cant say 100% for sure.

The pulley bolt is standard thread as mentioned. Just a suggestion - check the air pressure regulator on your compressor to make sure it is not turned down to far. The bolt is torqued to 80 lbs/ft so the air impact with the correct air pressure should take it off with ease . I would also reccommend not using an extension just a deep or shallow socket. Hope this helps out.
