I was riding today and went up a creek and hit a deep spot. Well it stalled out and almost rolled over. I had to winch it out and promptly stood it up on its back rack to drain the water out of the exhaust . Well i didnt start it up until i got home. i changed the oil three times till i saw no signs of any water in the oil. And there was water in the engine a nice milky color. It seems to run fine no smoke or any signs of problems. Well my question is am i overlooking anything that needs to be checked to make sure that all water is out of my foreman? And yes i have not changed the filter yet the local shop is not open on sundays and none of the auto parts store carry the filter i need. They all say they can order it but it will be a few days and i can get one tomorrow at the dealer. i am going to change it tomorrow after work. Or should i just shell out the dollars for the HL reuseable oil filter? any help woult be great thanks

Did you change the oil, run it for 10-20 minutes, change the oil, run it, like that?

I have sunk mine....rolled it over in some fast moving water, satayed that way for 3 to 4 min. I had the crankcase snorkeled over top of the carb and back down to the air box and that really saved the crankcase, may have got a few drops of water in the oil? But the jug was full, pulled the plug and pumped it out, about 20 to 30 hrs. later when I really get on it it will puff a small touch of smoke out the tail pipe, so I would say I may have to hone it and replace the rings or rebuild the top end in the future.
