My buddy and me are having the same problem with our 4x4. He has a older foreman with a Warn 4x2 kit and mine has Traxlock. Both of us sometime the front tires will not turn or will not turn as much as the back will 4:1 I would say. We both have detroit Lockers in the front. I got a suggestion from another site that it might be my front axles are slipping in the hub and might need to replace them. Can anyone help?

I have a detroit gearless locker with the traxloc, I have noticed that when I put it in 4x4 it takes a min to lock in it will lock in faster if I come to a stop, but once its locked in...... both tires are are turning and pulling good. I,m not sure why 2 of you are having the same prob? My thoughts are whats up with the locker? being one of you have a warn 424, Are you both running the correct oil in them? As fas as the hubs...... dont take but a min to check them, pull them off and look at the splines.

All 4's must be moving the same speed for the TraxLok to engage.

Well...... I have noticed that mine will not lock in as fast as it did when it was new, ( when moving forward ) and for some reason it will lock in the alot faster if I am at a complete stop. I dont think its caused by the dgl, I kinda think its caused by the electrical parts of the 4x4 system, but untill it totaly fails I dont think I will ever find why it does this.
