got my 2004 450s out the other day for first time in a couple weeks and the front end is squeeking i think its the shocks anyone have this happen before? know of a way to quite them down?

Yeah id say your best bet is the shocks. To make em stop sqeekin i would say just use maybe like WD-40 my friend did that to his shocks made em stop sqeekin. Ethan

I agree with Ethan. Nothing easier than shooting some WD-40 around the shock. If it is fixed great if not they keep looking. However, I would say this will more than likely fix the problem. I had a similar problem with my and the wd40 did the trick.

I also agree, take 2 14mm wrenches and pull the bolt out of the bottom of the shock. (leave top bolt in) pull the shock out of the bracket there is a bronze bushing in it push it out spray it out with cleaner clean it up clean both small seals in the shock grease it up with wheel breaing grease put it back together That will last awaile depinding on how much mud you put it through and how worn the bushing is.
