Is that HMF on your 400 still doing good? Good power gain? Also, what jets did you wind up using? Dyno or OEM, also what size. I'm trying to work up a deal on a HMF now. Need some info.

I'm working up a deal with someone on HL. He is selling his 450 w/ EDLs (that should give who it is away there) and is going to return it to pretty much stock. I need his HMF and he needs a stock exhaust....
Anyone have any idea how much a used HMF goes for?

Not familiar, we just started discussing it like "do you need an hmf, i need a stck muffler"

good power gains and bolts right up using the hmf made for 01 and older i used a 134 dynojet

0.0560" 145 Kehein jet But remember that the altitude in Canada will be different from that in Georgia .

I thought the foreman carbs were mikuni? Anyone shed any light on this? Also, what jet would ya'll recommend starting with considering I'm here in the Great state of Georgia.

Not postive about the 400's but most of the 450's had Kehein carbs.

Wondering, for those who know, do dealers off a "pack of jets," or do you have to buy them individually?

The dealer purchases them in bags of four to ten of the same jet. Depending on the demand for jets at your dealer, and depending on how common the particular jet is that you are looking for, they may or may not be willing to break up these bags. (They won't break up a bag if they can't sell the rest). Call ahead. You may be better off to suck up and buy a jet kit, or you may be better off at your dealer. It all depends on the local market.

Jake, which carb is on the 400s? I have been told by one that Mikuni and another than its kehein.

Hi, Mudlover here. I'm new to this site and have been riding for a few years now,love it. I'm looking for an exhaust system, used is o.k. , for my 99 450 foreman. I put on 27" tires and have a power loss which I new I would but wanted the extra clearance. I need more umph. Any reply on power mods would help.
