Snorkel question KSims.
How is it set up? Are you still running an air box or did you bypass it straight to the carb? I had to wonder since I saw the filter on the end of the riser. . .

Answers---
Winch - The Winch gets me out just fine. It is mounted up top so it isn't constantly being submerged in water and mud. I've never had a problem, and actually...I think it works better up there. Plus...when I do get stuck (not very often mind you) I don't have to get out in the shit to get to my winch. I can reach it just by reaching over my bars and pull out some slack...then toss it to my friend over on dry land to attach it.
Stereo - The stereo is strapped down TIGHT with ratchet straps. It isn't going ANYWHERE. I've had it on now for about a month. I remove it when I wash it. I wired it with male/female snap-in connectors under the rear rack so I can just snap it off and leave the wiring to the battery when I need to wash it. Works great.
Snorkel - The snorkel does still go into the airbox, but the airbox is sealed up water-tight!! I never understood why most people don't do this with the filter up on the snorkel. I don't want to deal with opening and re-sealing up my airbox every time I need to clean my air filter. This way...the airbox STAYS sealed and I still have filtration at the point where air is sucked in. Imagine all the dirt and mud that gets sucked in that open Snorkel hole without a filter up there...that can NOT be good for the engine in the long run. This way...I stop it before it gets anywhere near my engine.
