Got a good story for ya!!! Last Sunday (while I was at work ) the guys I ride with went to the great state of Alabama for a trail ride. My cuz rides an '05 400 Sportsman. Real nice quad with 27in Zillas (getts thru most anything except the ultra bad stuff). Well anyway, they were ridin, not much mud on these trails, and something happened to the PoPo. Just wouldnt go. They were about 5 miles in the woods and a Honda (not sure if it was a Rancher or a Foreman) had to pull him out ;D ;D N-E-Way, the PoPo is up for sale now (gettin fixed) and he is in the market for a Honda!!!! On a side question, what should he get? The new 500 Foreman? or the Rubi? Knowing Michael, money is not a problem.

First off, found it was a Rancher that pulled the PoPo home, about 10 miles +. Also, does anyone have a comment on the next quad he should get? I've pushing him toward the 500 Foreman pretty hard.

If money is no issue, the rubicon is the ticket. seeing it in action, I am green with envy!

I appreciate your reply. You seem to be the only one who will voice an opinion.

No Sweat Phillip. I was in a really thick mud hole last weekend. We both got stuck and our friend said if we didn't get stuck in it we were doing something wrong. He told us that every single belt driven machine he has seen go in there has smoked the belt. EVERY ONE of them! That's what convinced me to stay away from the belt drives. The new Rubi has the tranny and the shift options which make it a superb machine. You can see it by going here: www.dunbarphotographic.com/toys.htm Click on 4/9/05 mass rides. My bro is running 27" mud lites w/ 2" spacers and 1.5" lift. Regards, Steve D

Thanks, I'll pass the info along. I have been pushin Michael toward the 500 Foreman or Rubi. For what riding we do, I told him to stay away from the Rinny.

I have a Rancher 350ES 2x4 and a Foreman 450ES 4x4. My next one is definately going to be a Rubicon. I want that transmission and the better power. Don't get me wrong. I love the other two, especially the 450ES. But, I want a bit more if ya know what I mean.

Well, to give everyone an update. My cuz has not sold his PooPoo yet, but, since he has plenty of money he went out and bought himself a brand spankin new Honda Foreman 500. This thing rides like a Cadillac compared to my Foreman. Stock, it will pick up the front tires just by pushing the throttle a little. Only problem right now is that it has 3 wheel drive, and he has got to get his "Zillas mounted on the new ride. He says he may not put the Zillas on it. If he does that, I'll be the proud owner of a set of 27" Zillas. Another problem is the lack of a front tow hook. But the ride has plenty of power, and nearly, but not quiet as much ground clearance as mine with the lift, 26" tires, and lift springs.
