I just bought a 2004 Foreman ES. Only have about 30 miles on it. If I switch to a K&N air filter what all is involved? Do I have to re-jet the carb? I plan on doing pretty much tame off roading with some mudding. The Foreman also has a Warn 2500lb winch and a 50" Moose plow. Thanks.

No jetting needed with K&N. All you do is replace the filter. It actually makes it run closer to normal, because most Hondas are rich from factory, so it will even out the flow.

Thanks! I see you have a K&N w/pre filter. I hate to sound stupid, but what's a pre filter? I have heard that K&N air filters will make the Foreman run better.

Smitty, I got a K&N Air Filter on my Rancher 4x4. All you have to do is open the air box. Undo the hose clamp and take the old filter out. Then using the same hose clamp put the K&N Filter in and tightin it up. Thats how easy it is. The Pre-Filter (Outerwear) is just a cover that goes over the K&N Air Filter to keep from changing it so often. Yes, the K&N does make the atv run better. Hope this helps some.
