Yes, they are different. The perfex I believe is stainless, while the HL one is zinc coated steel. The perfex also has a wierd setup. The brackets go like under the top a-arm and the mounting holes come out above it, it's wierd. The HL ones just go onto the stock mounting location. I believe with the HL one you will get a hair more lift than the perfex also.

Flipstick, Buy the Perfex. Honda Parts World keeps them in stock. Do a search on the ATV Nation board and you can find a bunch of people running it. It is actualy not a lift but a relocation kit. The lift kits just move the shock mounting point in line with the shock to raise the ATV. The Perfex kit relocates the shocks to a more upright position for multiple advantages. It will give you about 1 3/8 inch lift and at the same time it will change the suspension geometry for a better ride and improved handling on varied terain. The shock angle is moved to a more vertical position which give you 2 things. 1 a better ride. 2 more suspension travel. Any brand of lift kit just increases ground cleance by extending the overal length of the shock. The Perfex kit was designed to improve overal handling and ride qualities of the Quad. The added lift from the kit is just a side benefit, not the sole purpose of the kit. Dub.
