Speaking of best mud tire, has anyone looked at the Sept. issue of ATV Rider? On page 70 it talks about ow the tested the tires on the Polaris and the picture on the bottom left corner if I'm not mistaken shows a front tire that is on backwards. If I am mistaken please dont be too harsh.

i would say the mudzillas work very well in the mud. the main tread might get slicked but those sidewalls will get you throught the toughest mud

I dont get stuck much either anymore. If I do its because i'm going extreme where nobody else tries. Thats really the only time.

Outlaws are in my opinion the best PURE mud tire. they ride like crap tho until u get to about 35mph. Zillas ride a little bit better but in thick mud tend to cake over, but its ur decision laws are cheaper too.

You truley can't go wrong if you buy vamps, laws or zillas there all great tires but i also have to mention the mudlites they are cheep and work very well and are the lightest tire out there so you won't go wrong with them either

If they made EDL's in another size, maybe 28x12's too, not only would I have them, but they'd be purty badass in the mud pit.

If Super Swamper made EDL's in 28x12-12 I would be running a EDL/ Outlaw combo. Thats the only way I would get Vampires.

I run EDL's, and they are bad, but they tend to dig too much. I usually end up sitting on my rear axle or frame, and not really get stuck.
I hooked up to a tree which fell in the middle of one our trails, and in about 2 seconds I had dug my rear end down to the axle..........and this was dry ground!!!!
They are just too mean! LOL!

I have 27" mudlights on my Rubi. I do not like them they turn to racing slicks in the mud. Not to put down anybody who has this tire. Thats why i am going to change to EDL,S if i can turn em. I would consider 27 zillas.
